About the company

In 2013, the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy hosted the CleanWeb Hackathon to spark new ideas around building and energy innovation. We entered with a simple concept: use smartphones to let employees report workplace comfort issues in real time.

Our idea was named best at the event by a panel of technology and venture leaders. Encouraged by the response, we left our day jobs and founded CrowdComfort. What began as a solution for thermal comfort quickly expanded into a platform that captures and resolves all types of workplace issues—giving occupants a voice and facilities teams actionable data. After early recognition from The Wall Street Journal and Entrepreneur, CrowdComfort grew into a trusted partner across industries.

Today, we work with Fortune 500 companies, K–12 school districts, colleges and universities, and life sciences organizations to improve the environments where people work, learn, and innovate. By combining mobile technology and cloud analytics, we enhance safety, comfort, and operational performance—helping organizations run smarter, more efficient facilities.
